Die Mitte is a political party in Dorvik, formally established in 4622. Formerly an alliance between Solidarität and Sozial-Liberale Liste, Die Mitte (DM) is now a unified party. Presidential candidate: Manfred Werstein (formerly of Sol) Chairman: Egon Hansen (formerly of SLL) --- --- --- --- --- Solidarität is a centre-left political party in Dorvik, founded in August 4575, by Natalie Pruefer and Ingolf Gansz. It is currently led by Klara Lichtenfels (as of 4621). Since its establishment, Solidarität and its social democratic policy agenda have played a large role in Dorvik, including serving in the Grand Coalition that overturned the so-called "Defense of Democracy Act." More recently, Solidarität has worked with parties in the center and on the left to more fully pursue its social democratic aims. Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
Random quote: “The people's war isn't just a war of destruction, it is also a war of construction. We will build new facilities, new hospitals, new farms. We will seek to improve the lives of the people around us. This struggle will be as costly as the struggle against the bourgeois army, and indeed will be even more damaging to the enemy.” - Comrade X, former Hulstrian politician |
