Presidential candidate: Manfred Werstein (formerly of Sol) Chairman: Egon Hansen (formerly of SLL) --- --- --- --- --- Solidarität is a centre-left political party in Dorvik, founded in August 4575, by Natalie Pruefer and Ingolf Gansz. It is currently led by Klara Lichtenfels (as of 4621). Since its establishment, Solidarität and its social democratic policy agenda have played a large role in Dorvik, including serving in the Grand Coalition that overturned the so-called "Defense of Democracy Act." More recently, Solidarität has worked with parties in the center and on the left to more fully pursue its social democratic aims. Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
Random quote: "It makes no difference, in principle, if this 'collective will' is divined by the edicts of a dictator or by majority vote, so long as the rights of the individual may still be sacrificed." - Robert Garmong |
