وسام الشاعر الزمرد - Wasam Alshshaeir Alzamarud - Order of The Emerald Poet

Founded in 4736, when the Emerald of Truth was discovered by the Hosian-Ahmadi syncretic poet Samad Zaman Al-Hashim. He has since become known as the "Emerald Poet" and the Emerald itself is believed to be his prophecy. Archeologists attest that the inscription on the Emerald is indeed ancient, having been dated to rounghly between the 4th-10th Century. Scholars obviously do not agree that the birth of Samad Zaman Al-Hashim is prophecized in the text.

THE EMERALD - [ As Translated by Samad Zaman Al-Hashim]

1) The Scribe of God did carve upon my heart the One and Only Truth! The Single Certainty! The truth about which there is no doubt!
2) When He was near to death, The Scribe said unto me: “carve the Truth into an Emerald, for it soon shall be forgotten. Thy Emerald will be found by He who is to come, the Chosen One - the Divine Poet - who God shall send in the time after all of the Prophets have perished.
3) As it is below it is above, and as it is above it is below, to perform the miracles of One.
4) And as all things come from One - One meditation - so are All things born from One by adaptation.
5) Its father is the Sun and its mother is the Moon; He the Light, and She the Vessel;
6) The wind bore it in its womb. Its nurse is the earth, in whom it nestles.
7) It itself is the father of all the wonder in the world.
8) Its power is complete.
9) Its fire will be poured upon the earth…
10) But thou shall separate the earth from the fire, the delicate from the dense, gently and with judgement.
11) Thou shall ascend with sagacity from earth to heaven, and then descend from heaven to earth, and in doing so receive the strength of above and below;
12) Thus thou hast the glory of the whole world, and from thee shall darkness flee!
13) It is power, strong with the strength of all power;
14) It dominates all that is delicate and, in time, will enter into all that is dense.
15) Thus the world was created.
16) And so hence have all wonders been born; the means to achieve are here upon this Emerald.
17) And to this aspired the Scribe, who was threefold graced with wisdom.
18) This is his last book, which He instructed me to carve upon an Emerald;
19) I have done as He asked, and I shall hide this Emerald in the chamber that He showed to me.
20) In that chamber it shall wait for He who is to find it; for you its Magic shall be preserved.
21) O’ Divine Poet, this is your prophecy!
22) Thy eyes shall become Emeralds, and so too thy heart and mind;
23) A desert is a grain of sand, and a grain of sand is a desert;
24) To know this is to have wisdom; thus, know it. It alone is plenty.
25) Fear not earthly shame nor unnatural death; fear not loss nor corporeal pain;
26) Long not for unnatural luxury nor for earthly wealth, nor power nor bodily health;
27) Thou shall never truly lack, nor have more nor less, for thou art the Truth made flesh.
