Description[?]:
***Ma'avak*** In the year of 2328, nearly two decades since the Pontesians first invaded the sacred Motherland of Beiteynu, the then General of the Resistance Lavi Ben-Tzvi authorised the use of 'any means necessary'; "From dust they came and to dust they go, ours is the heavens, yours is the worms." Today, over a century later, the Ma'avak movement can largely be summed up in the same way. Spawned in the post-JPF anarchy and fuelled by the fury of Moshe Ne'eman Ma'avak soon grew to the largest entity of the Beiteynu Resistance Committee. After struggling through fifty years of occupation it forced the Pntek from the Homeland and restored Beiteynu to its former glory. Now, as the chosen people of G-d once again find themselves under the claws of the eastern devils and under threat from the crusades of the north the movement and its political representation is just as relevant as it always was. Burnt into the hearts and minds of all those of the struggle is that this is the Promised Land and this is our home; Seven Mehozot. One Homeland. Components; * Miflega shel-HaMa'avak (Party of the Struggle) - Political Wing * Lohamei Herut Kahina (Freedom Fighters of Kahina) - Paramilitary Organisation * Agudat shel-HaYehudit HaMa'avak (Union of the Jewish Struggle) - Trade Union Federation ***Lohamei Herut Kahina*** The Ma'avak movement was initially formed as a clandestine paramilitary group that has existed since the time of the Second Jewish Homeland. Yet it was not until 2309 that it entered into the political world and the paramilitary/political split was created. Today the largest armed wing of the party is known as Lohamei Herut Kahina (Freedom Fighters of Kahina) and works in conjunction with the Knesset wing. Kahina Point plays enormous importance to the Ma'avak movement, representing the home of Moshe Ne'eman the founder of the modern party as well as many other prominent party members. It was the seizure of Kahina by Pontesians that first spawned the creation of an organised resistance to the occupation and the formation of the Beiteynu Resistance Committee, therefore to Ma'avak members and other Jewish nationalists the city stands as important as Birahteynu, the capital, and Yishalem, built on the remains of old Bira. As such a common slogan of the resistance is one of; Kahina shall not fall again! ***Ma'avak shel-HaEmunim (Moledet)*** The current resistance movement to the Peace Accord with Pontesi and the sacrifice of Beiteynuese land has been organised under the title of the Struggle of the Faithful. The term originates from HaLeumit Tikvah, a group run by the former Mizrachi Ligat of Beiteynu but currently operating in neighbouring Barmenistan to free the people there from the tyrannical atheism that has been so prominent in recent governments. As such the current operation in Beiteynu is often referred to as the Struggle of the Faithful (Homeland) to differentiate it from the operation in Barmenistan. It was under this banner that the Ma'avak movement returned to the Knesset announcing its arrival with the following declaration; While we lay drinking at the cup of servitude, While we let our people suffer, our culture be raped, our Homeland destroyed, While we were happy to ignore, While we were content to pretend it did not exist, While we enjoyed the material benefits, They fought. They fought the computers, the atheists, the murderers, They destroyed the towers of sin, They brought immorality crashing to the ground. We shall fight too. We shall fight again. Our land, our people, our faith, Diplomacy has failed, All we have is the Torah and the sword. Mehoz HaDarom falls, Mehoz HaTzafon and Havot Dandrael will be next, The Promised Land will be ours. Kahina shall not fall again! ***Leadership History*** (Unless otherwise stated the party was run under the Ma'avak name) * First Political Incarnation; - Moshe Ne'eman - Daniel Shkolnik (served as HoG) - Tuvya Menachem - Reshima Demokratit le-Shalom - Yechezkel Sheetrit - Ma'avak Hadasha (served as HoG) - Yíšay Yéhôšaphát Yišsérles - Ma'avak Hadasha (served as HoS) * Second Political Incarnation; - Moshe X * Third Political Incarnation; - Efraim Lezeyn - Aymam (see note) (served as HoS) - Delshad Kandelcukier - Aymam (served as HoS) - Raziela Aharoni - Mifleget HaAvoda HaDemokratit (Democratic Labour Party) - Avidan Matusevitch * Fourth Political Incarnation - Elyah Eliashiv - Josef Nehushtan (served as HoG) - Tamir Kirschenbaum (served as HoS) - Joel Smashnova (served as HoG) - Yaffe Melech ben-Matusevitch (served as HoS) Note: Aymam was an acronym for Agudat Yehudit shel-HaMa'avak le-HaAretz HaMuvtachat (Jewish Union of the Struggle for the Promised Land) |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
Random quote: "A democracy that does not allow limits is not a democracy. Just as a limitless freedom is not freedom, but prevarication. Indeed, any theory of freedom worthy of this name is first of all a limit theory. If we extend the unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not willing to defend a tolerant society against the attacks of the intolerants, then the tolerants will be destroyed and the tolerance with them! Because, I ask to myself and ask you, given a certain system that we call democratic, which is today the best possible system to allow everyone to live freely and to be able to express their own thoughts, how can the same system admit attacks against its integrity? How can a system refuse the principle of the self-preservation? For this reason, to suppress the apologetics of thalerrism, it's for this reason that the exaltation of exegetes, principles, facts or methods of Thallerism and its anti-democratic aims does not constitute a violation of the freedom of manifestation of thought, but, on the contrary, the celebration of that freedom. The protection of the first premise on which a modern democratic system is based. And this premise must be safeguarded also and above all against itself and its abuses." ~ Malik Astori, Leadership of Liberty and Progress (Istalia) |
