Description[?]:
Takaneekee Sangh (Technocratic Union) was formed in 4999 by some academics, former bureaucrats and retired military as well as a few theologians and investment bankers. The initial fundamental focus of the party is growth of the economy. Two drags on the economy are spending as much on defense as Dorvik and Deltaria combined and confiscatory income tax rates. As to social norms, the thinking is that the rather barbaric sociiety will become more civilized as economic opportunity beckons. With respect to nationalizing industry, the party is generally opposed since managing an entire economy seems generally to be a zero sum undertaking while growing an economy tends to require some creative entrepeneuriall examination of new opportunities. The party generally favors democracy but does not believe in a backward society that democracy is a justification for continuing failed approachs to problems. A faction of the party believes civil liberties are important in themselves while an initial majority fbelieves this a diversion from the primary focus on economic growrth. Although initially the latter was in charge the civil liberty advocates are in the ascendant. Trying to establish relations with neighbors has become a sdeious objective. |
