Seats[?] in Chambre des Députés (Chamber of Deputies)[?]: 0
Color[?]:
Description[?]:
A confederacy of republicans, democrats and radicals opposed to the monarchy in all it's forms. The Jacobins started as associations of politically active middle-class and upper middle-class intelligentsia who frequent Kanjor's popular coffee shops or cafes, otherwise known as Salons. Soon, these associations extended membership to the working class, currying popular support and discussion. A common thread among the groups was a dissatisfaction with the monarchy, and a longing to return to the former republic. Kanjor has a had an extensive history of political radicalism, and a strong left wing. To see it all amount to a monarchy in this modern day and age disillusioned many people. |

Random quote: "Terror is only justice: prompt, severe and inflexible; it is then an emanation of virtue; it is less a distinct principle than a natural consequence of the general principle of democracy, applied to the most pressing wants of the country." - Maximilien Robespierre |
