Liberal Party of Solentia Founded: January 2434 The Liberal Party of Solentia encompasses a wide range of political views advocating safe freedom and equality. The LPS supports: - A mixed economy with regulatory bodies over private enterprise - A Social Security System - Fair levels of taxation - Environmental Protection - The strong protection of Human Rights and Civil Liberties - Multiculturalism - Gay Marriage, Stem Cell Research, Euthenasia, and Abortion (depending on the circumstances) - Internationalism The LPS does not support: - Recreational Drug Use - Prostitution - Capital Punishment - Censorship - Research and use of Nuclear, Biological and Chemical weapons - National Service Party Leadership: First Minister Candidate and Party Leader - Ethan Turner -Turner takes the Party Leadership after the death of Xavier Evans and will lead the party in their return to Solentian politics. Diplomacy and negotiation are Evans key strengths Prime Minister Candidate and Deputy Party Leader Heath Baines - Heath Baines, a former lawyer is promoted to Deputy Party leader as the Liberal Party reshuffle before their return to politics |
