Description[?]:
The Green Socialist Party is a political party that supports Socialism and Democracy, and the separation of church and state. Primarily the Green Socialist Party is in support of Deism and Atheism, but believes religion is a personal matter, and that religion should not be involved in government matters. The Party is very environmentalist, and believes that the government should take every opportunity to subsidize green energies and mass transit. Civil Rights is a big issue within the Party, and is not taken lightly. The government should not restrict many Civil Rights, and should not restrict what someone can do with their body. An aggressive military is a stupid military, diplomacy should always be the only option. Military should only be used if attacked first or there is a certainty of attack. The market needs to be regulated by the government, because although capitalism can be prosperous, the government needs to take into account social equality and global healthcare, and in a capitalist society, these things are hard to do. Foreign Relations should be open and people should be citizens of the world instead of citizens of a specified country. It should be easy to pass from one country to the next, and internationalism should be the global standard. |

Random fact: Real-life quotations may be used in Particracy, but the real-life speaker or author should always be referenced in an OOC (out-of-character) note alongside the quotation. |
Random quote: "A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." - Thomas Jefferson |
