Description[?]:

"Ubi bene, ibi patria."

Founded in 2463, Pro Patria builds on the teachings of its founder and ideologial father Justus Maximus. The Party seeks to cherish and conserve the healthy and noble values of the brave Selucian Ancestors and to promote the Selucian Religio, culture and lifestyle.

The Party's ideologial background can be described as liberal conservatism and national conservatism. The Party sees family as a basic unit of society and holds traditional family values very dear. Yet, at the same time the Party has some liberal views on civil rights and stands for a responsible market economy as well as a limited welfare state. The Party has a skeptical view on immigration, multiculturalism and international organizations, and thus believes in a strong military and governing to back Selucia's sovereignty and national unity.

Although the Party's inner circle consists mostly of Justus Maximus' descendants, Pro Patria is not a pure family dynasty. In fact, Imperator, Admiral Brutus Fortius came from outside the family. The leader of the Party is referred to as Pater, whereas the members are called Spes Patriae.

Random fact: In general, role-play requires the consent of all players.

Random quote: "It is obvious that the laissez-faire ideology represents the interests of big business. For decades, the right-wing has opposed welfare programs and nationalised companies, in favour of big business disguised under 'economic liberty'." - Cecilia Xu, former Gaduri politician
