Description[?]:
The Jewish Mothers' Union (JMU) was founded by Melanie Koffenbaum in April 2560 in response to a growing conviction amongst ordinary people that the voice of women and children needs to be better represented in Beitenyu's corridors of power. The JMU was formed with the following goals in mind: * to better guarantee the security of all Jews, both in Beitenyu and overseas, by seeking improved relations with our neighbours. In the long-term we hope to redirect resources from defence spending to alleviating poverty around the world. * to work to reduce religious conflict and tension through building better understandings between the different faiths. * to preserve Beitenyu as a Jewish homeland and maintain her essentially Jewish character, whilst upholding basic values of tolerance and liberty. * to revolutionise standards in education and healthcare through more spending and better planning. * to uphold the family values upon which community and national life defends. * to improve the legal and social status of women and children. In particular, we aim to propel more women into the top seats of power in the Knesset and the Cabinet. * to build a more responsible and less selfish society, where everybody is cared for and valued - rich and poor, men and women, children and the elderly, Jewish and non-Jewish. * to eliminate the national disgrace of poverty which afflicts our land. * to protect the environment from avoidable exploitation. |

Voting Record

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
