Description[?]:
Democratic Benevolence looks for guided democracy in many facets of the country. Whether from guided control of economic policy to guided reforms for the good of society, the major factor in government should be the Benevolence of its people. Guided democracy is necessary for further democractic development. Simply allowing civil liberties to run a muck on the justice system will not ensure the safety of the citizens. Any legislation should seek tough penalties on crime and yet further the individual protection of its citizens. Given the rights of the many over the rights of the few, we choose the rights of the many. Its not left wing or communitarian politics, its common sense. |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
