User[?]: James Falkin

Nation[?]: Poblacht na Choiarlabhan (Kirlawa)

Seats[?] in Dáil Choiarlabhan[?]: 0

Color[?]:

Description[?]:

We fight, as a party, as democratic socialists, for a state which serves the hardest working of our society, and those in need of help, not the wealthy who take so much from hard-working people. We fight, for democratic socialism, where every man is as valuable as the man next to him. We fight for the people, and for a government for the people.

Centralization: We believe a strong government is needed to protect the people and we will never support the division of our nation into petty feudal principalities, going in whatever direction they feel like. A strong central government unites the nation and people.

Civil Rights: We support the rights of all Kirlawans to free speech, freedom of association, and subscribe to the international declaration on human rights. No one shall ever be tortured, arrested without charge, not recieve a trial, on anything like that under a democratic socialist government.

Ecology: We believe that the people of Kirlawa come before trees. The science of global warming is qute exaggerated, and the most important thing to government should not be saving dirt and trees, but serving the human beings of Kirlawa. That is what we shall focus on, bettering their lives, not inaminate objects like rocks and mud.

Foreign Relations: We believe that Kirlawa must protect its sovereignty in all dealings, and that government must protect the people of Kirlawa when dealing with foreigners. Most importantly, Kirlawa should adopt a general policy of isolationism, as most nations merely wish to exploit our people and workers.

Government Responsiblities: We believe that government is responsible for providing a safety net for all Kirlawans, ensuring corporates respect Kirlawa, protecting the poor, and protecting the nation. Government must work to ensure all Kirlawans have happy lives, and not turn a blind eye to any man's suffering. Government is here to help, not to ignore.

Market: All large corporations must be nationalized, for the sheer fact that people's welfare ought to come before the profits of a few.

Military: Again, the people of Kirlawa come before guns and helmets. However, in order to ensure our safety we need a strong military for self-defence. However, we are not imperialists, and will never support intervention in foreign nations without a very good reason.

Morality: We believe that the collapse of the traditional family is a dangerous and alarming thing. We do not support diverse family models when they include children, as studies have shown that the powerless children are the ones worst affected by the needs of adults to abandon their partners. On other issues, we generally believe that we cannot shield children from the world they live in, that humans have urges which are totally natural, and not shameful, and that government has no right to tell people how to live their lives, or what to do with them. Same-sex marriage and abortion are both supported by this party, and marriage shall be encouraged with tax credits.

Religion: Government must discourage religion, and adopt strong secularism. Too much religion leads to death and poverty. Government must be strictly secular, no government employees should show any religious symbols, and there should be no religious building on public property. We are a party which takes pride in standing up for the atheist people of Kirlawa against religious fundamentalists. We are dedicated to ensuring Kirlawa becomes a country where atheists are comfortable, happy, and welcome. We fight for the rights of atheists around the world as well.

Economic score: -5.87
Social score: -3.74

Your score pegs you as economically leftist and socially moderately libertarian.

Economic leftists mostly support strict economic controls and programs to assure that the poor are elevated to a higher position in society.

Moderate social libertarians generally favour a hands-off approach to social legislation. They may believe that the government has no right to enforce morals, but may support certain controls on individual rights to avoid crime, drug use, or similar social ills.

In its history, the party grew prolifically in its early days, peaking at 90 seats in the February 2592 elections. From then on, though, the party suffered, even though its bills started to get passed. It reached a low point in October 2606, winning just 36 seats. However, the 2610 elections have marked a renewal for the party, with it winning 55 seats.

In 2725, the party was refounded by history student John Howard to once again fight for the people of Kirlawa.
