Description[?]:

DRANLAND FIRST PARTY
"For family, tradition, morality, and culture"

Political Compass:
Economic Left/Right: 4.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 8.20

Political stances: Paleoconservatism, economic nationalism, populism, classical federalism (within a framework of nationalism), protectionism, non-interventionism, anti-communism.

Political position: Right-wing. (Has often been accused of supporting 'far-right' agendas, but these claims have largely been denied or disproven by the party).

The Dranland First Party is part of the 'Conservative Coalition' - a coalition of conservative parties with the common interests of morality, culture, civilized society, tradition, federalism, and national sovereignity.

The Dranland First Party is a paleoconservative party formed by Lord Wesley Hamptonshire - the previous leader of the now-defunct 'Family and Tradition Party' in Hutori.

The Dranland First Party's main platform is as follows:

- The DFP is strongly socially conservative. The DFP opposes abortion, euthanasia, recreational drugs, prostitution, sexual education in schools, and gay-marriage\adoption\IVF treatment, and supports the death penalty and gun rights, among many other things.

- The DFP is fervently opposed to all forms of positive descrimination or affirmative action.

- The DFP believes in Christianity and Christian morality as the foundation upon which Dranland was founded, and believes that this heritage should be protected and preserved at all costs.

- The DFP fervently believes in classical federalism and state's rights. Most governmental responsibilities should be devolved to states and local governments, where government decisions are closer to the people, and more responsive to the needs of the local communities and families that they effect the most. The DFP believes that the federal government should have minimal power, and advocates the dismantling of the centralized welfare state.

- The DFP is an isolationist party, though the term 'isolationist' is not favourable, as it often has negative connotations. The DFP believes in protecting the sovereignity of Dranland, and opposes global governance, foreign aid, entangling international alliances and treaties, and globalization in all of its forms.

- The DFP is protectionist, in that it opposes free trade, and supports tarrifs on all imports, for the protection of Dranland's domestic industries from unfair foreign competition.

- The DFP is strongly non-interventionist in foreign policy. The DFP believes that Dranland should mind its own business as much as possible, and should not interfere in the affairs of other nations, infringing on their sovereignity.

- The DFP believes firmly in the importance of upholding the articles of the constitution of Dranland. All legislation should be coherant with the constitution and should not rely on loose and distorted interpretations.

- The DFP is against all radical and unwaranted change, and change for change's sake. The DFP completely rejects all political and social change based on abstract ideologies and philisophical superstitions.

- The DFP supports legal immigration within reason, but with strict quotas on the number of immigrants allowed, so that Dranland is not overwhelmed. The DFP is strongly against illegal immigration, and supports strong border control, illegal immigrant searches, deportation of all illegal aliens, and opposes amnesty and social welfare for all refugees and illegal aliens. The DFP also opposes dual citizenship, drivers licenses for illegals, and automatic citizenship for children born in Dranland to illegal immigrant parents.

- The DFP believes in low taxation, advocating a flat-rate income tax, but generally opposes the concept of a federal income-tax, and believes most revenue raising should be done at the state level. The DFP advocates a system of tarrifs and excise taxes to replace the federal income tax.

- The DFP supports a relatively free market, but does believe that some restrictions must be placed on the market to ensure that vulture capitalism does not have a negative impact on families and culture. The DFP believes that overly-abstract and idealistic economic and political concepts should be avoided at all costs.

- The DFP is fervently againt communism and socialism, and is sceptical of liberalism and libertarianism, as they promote the importance of the individual above all else, in direct contradiction to man's social nature. The DFP is generally very sceptical towards 'ideology' in general.
