Description[?]:

The Democratic Liberals of Barmenia is a party whose core belief is that all of our Citizens are born with inalienable Social Liberties that cannot be infringed, so as long as they do not interfere with the rights of other citizens. Some of our hot topic stances are as follows:

-Pro-Choice
-A belief that individuals may keep themselves secure through reasonably arming themselves in both private and public.
-Employment and admissions that represent the general public.
-A belief that any two adults may marry each other and receive whatever benefits the State currently or may provide for married couples.
-Healthcare shall be given to all, rather through State-funded/Private practice or though State-funded/State practice.
-Marijuana legalization.
-State-assisted funding for stem cell research
-Strong environmentalism to ensure that we all enjoy the same land around us and the benefits it gives.
-Strong Secularism to ensure true religious freedom is delivered to the people.

Fiscally, our emphasis lies within paying down any deficit we may incur to the maximum of our ability and thus, attempting not to dig our deficit deeper. This is to be done with the policy of maintaining a State in which the Middle Class may prosper and grow. This, combined with a duty to provide adequate temporary housing, income and food for the unemployed. It is understood that this is a sensitive balancing act, but may be achieved though progressively taxing the more financially fortunate a slightly higher percentage and through national protectionism, ensuring jobs stay at home.
