Terran Independent News Treaty (T.I.N.T)

For centuries Radio Free Terra and TerraWire News agencies have been established and well known institutions across all of Terra. This treaty seeks to bridge the gaps of history and unite both organizations under a single treaty. Both organizations have long stood for international news broadcasting that provides just the facts. It has remained the responsibility of sovereign nations through their domestic composition to use these reports in their nations various proxies of information distribution or to not use the reports at all. Radio Free Terra and TerraWire both being the oldest independent international broadcasting outlets; it is important that both institutions be given special treatment in the form of this treaty.

1: Signatory nations unto this treaty obligate themselves to permit Radio Free Terra and TerraWire news reporters and journalists access within your nation.
1.2: Each signatory nation reserves the right based upon domestic censorship laws to waive the clause in Article 1.
1.2.3: In an event as outlined in Article 1.2 should arise, no form of punishment shall be rendered. Though it remains the right of other signatory nations to inquire as to the nature of the objection as outlined in Article 1.2

2: Signatory nations unto this treaty obligate themselves to allowing Radio Free Terra or TerraWire News to establish news headquarters within signatory nations soil and shall be granted the highest protections available domestically to ensure the integrity of these honorable institutions remain in tact.
2.1: It is within the right of signatory nations to not allow Radio Free Terra or TerraWire News to setup regional offices.

3: Signatory nations may ratify the T.I.N.T. treaty and chose to merely take a passive role by not desiring a franchise of Radio Free Terra or TerraWire News to be established within the domestic areas of the aforementioned nation.
3.1: Should such nations take the position outlined in Article 3, it is required of signatory nations that the institutions themselves are respected and recognized as what they, the most powerful, independent and objective source of news in all of Terra.
3.1.2 Should a signatory nation violate Article 3.1 the signatory nation may face punitive actions from other signatory nations.
