| PREAMBLE The ancient Kyo people have resided upon the Dranian Peninsula for many millenia; the first nation-state to emerge in this region was Baeguk, which formed after King Baekgu the Great's unification of the divided Kyo Kingdoms. Western colonialism ended the autonomous and free reign of the Kyo in the 18th Century. When the colonial era ended, foreign rule continued to dominate the land. Briefly in the 30th Century the Kyo toppled the power structure of these occupiers, but only briefly. The Great Kyo Revolution of 3608 was another strike against foreign domination, but it too, is threatened to become only a brief event. The Nation of Dankuk, the modern autonomous and free Kyo State, is under imminent threat and is clinging to survival. The Treaty of Gongmangdo reaffirms the sovereignty of the State of Dankuk and it rejects all other nations and foreign regimes that lay claim upon the Dranian Peninsula. We, the Kyo people, urge the nations of Terra to stand in support of the ancient Kyo State and refuse recognition of any other nation-state on this peninsula. ARTICLE I Signatory nations affirm the sovereignty of the State of Dankuk and recognize its ancient and legitimate claims over the Dranian Peninsula. ARTICLE II Signatory nations will not recognize any nation that claims control of the Dranian Peninsula, except for the State of Dankuk. ARTICLE III Signatory nations are encouraged to persuade other nations to recognize the sovereignty of Dankuk and to reject the other nations which lay claim upon the Dranian Peninsula.
