Seleyan Union (SU)

This treaty was drafted in September 3746 by the Baltusia Partido Conservador.

This Union will be drafted to bring Seleyan countries closer together.

ARTICLE 1 (Union Assembly)
There will be an assembly called the Union Assembly that may, pass bills regarding national law that nations have to comply to unless it is overturned or not supported by parties in their home country. Each country is granted 15 seats in the Union Assembly. The seats are held by parties from each nations own Legislature, based on the percentage of seats the party has in their home country.

ARTICLE 2 (Fair Trade)
Each ratifying nation shall promise cooperative trade agreements with other members of the Union if another nation requests it. This is not to be confused with Free Trade, nations must make those agreements on their own time.

ARTICLE 3 (Friendship)
Each ratifying nation shall promise friendship and cooperation with other ratifying Seleyan Nations, this means if any nations were to go to war they would be temporarily suspended from the Union and no ratifying nations shall use nuclear, biological and chemical weapons on each other, nations are required to follow these rules even if they are suspended.

ARTICLE 4 (Suspension)
A nation may be suspended from the union if they break any rules, the nations suspension must also be put to a vote and be backed by the, Union Assembly. When nations are suspended they still must comply to the rules of the Union.

ARTICLE 5 (Support)
If a nation requests support from another nation in the Union with regards to a war with a nation not in the Union, they must support the nation unless it is met with opposition in their home country or the Union Assembly.

ARTICLE 6 (Equality)
All nations have the same say in the Union no matter size, ethnic makeup, religious makeup etc.

ARTICLE 7 (Security Force)
The Union will establish a peacekeeping and security force which will defend Seleya as a whole, each nation in the Union shall be obligated to send at least 10,000 troops to the force more will be accepted. The use of the security force shall only be used with 2/3 approval of the Union.

ARTICLE 8 (Headquarters)
The headquarters of the Union will be in Victoria, Athosia, Baltusia (This is where the main buildings and SU grounds will be, including the Union Assembly). Each Seleyan nation apart of the Union will have its own headquarters in their own nation.

ARTICLE 9 (Membership)
Each Seleyan nation shall be granted membership in the Union if they request and apply for it (by ratifying this treaty). Non-Seleyan nations shall be granted special observer status, which means the nation will not receive full membership but they will not be full outsiders, to the Union.
