Defensive Agrement between the Istalian Republic and the Free State of Malivia

The Istalian Republic and the Free State of Malivia, since now the contracting parties, pledge to establish a Mutual Defensive Agreement between them.

Article I: Respect and Mutual Recognition
Both the contracting parties declare the sovereignty of the other to be inviolable and will take no action, back no action or back others who seek to undermine the legitimacy of the sovereignty of the other nation.

Article II: Mutual Defense
The contracting parties pledge to assure reciprocal military cooperation and mutual defense in times of war, including wars against terrorist organizations. An attack on any one nation will be considered an attack on both nations.

Article III: Intelligence Activities
The contracting parties agree to share military intelligence with each other where it is deemed beneficial to either party on the basis that the contracting parties have a commitment to the each other and, therefore, a direct interest in the future survival of each other.

Article IV: Operative Coordination and Cooperation 
The contracting parties pledge and agree to regularly participate in joint training sessions as to get familiar with each others tactics and practises and work to increase defense cooperation in all areas. To that end both will establish easier rules for the transfer of men, equipment and technology.

Article V: Strategic and Diplomatic Coordination
The contracting parties pledge to establish a direct, secure line of communications between the Defense Ministers of both nations in order to agree on foreign and strategic policies which can meet at best, the needs and the national interests of the contracting parties, and to solve peacefully, all the possible contrasts and issues between them.

Article VI: Declaration of War
If one of the contrating parties wish to declare war on another nation or organize a military operation against no-governative subject they should inform the other nation with reasonable advance but the contracting parties should be not obligated to assist the other.

Article VII: Offshore installations
The contracting parties agreed to grant to the other nation the control and administration of extra-territorial areas under the sovereignty of the other contracting party for military use and purpose which should not exceed the 50 square kilometres for a period of time of 50 years and renewable after a vote into the respective parliaments. The extra-territorial areas will be used by the contracting parties in agreement with the other party and respecting the operational limitations concorded among them
