Treaty of Dorvish-Vanukean Co-operation and Understanding

| Recognising the necessity to co-operate to ensure Terran stability and economic prosperity and recognising the historical and cultural links binding our nations, His Majesty's Government of Vanuku and the Government of the Dorvish Republic do henceforth pledge to adhere to the articles of the following treaty of understanding and co-operation Article I Both states declare the sovereignty of the other to be inviolable and will take no action, back no action nor support others who seek to undermine the legitimacy of the sovereignty of the other nation; Article II Both states will dispatch embassies and be allowed to establish chanceries in their respective capitals. A further four consulates may be established in other cities; Article III Both states seek closer and more friendly relations and, to that end, both will establish and support cultural and educational exchanges to further these goals; Article IV Both states agree that senior intelligence and defence officials will meet as often as circumstances allow - as such coordination of efforts will facilitate strategies to combat the rise of extremist states; Article V Both states stand opposed to terrorism, political instability, human trafficking and other forms of transnational crime. The police and relevant judicial institutions of both states will cooperate to take on these scourges; Article VI In order to build deeper security ties both states will, where appropriate, share intelligence and work to increase defence cooperation in all areas. This includes joint military training exercises and where appropriate co-operation on tactical and strategic doctrine; Article VII To further economic ties, both nations vow to work together to remove all protectionist trade barriers with the other and promote, trade, investment and tourism in both nations. Trade disputes will be reviewed and handled by the World Congress. |
