| ALLIANCE OF THE LION, THE DRAGON, THE WOLF, AND THE BEAR “The great beasts together, for peace, prosperity and progress.” The signing nations, in search of stability, sovereignty, protection, and friendship who together seek a more balanced global order where all their nations can be sovereign and free, while also upholding the sovereignty and interests of their own nations while striving for a global peace, hereby agree on the following treaty: Article I. MEMBERSHIP 1. To be a full member state all states must be in common agreement, the base members of the Alliance of the Lion, the Dragon, the Wolf, and the Bear (hereafter named Zoo Alliance) are Vanuku, Yingdala, Jelbania and Trigunia. Further member states can be approved and will be referred to by their national animal. 2. All signatory states are encouraged to work together outside of this military alliance to further enhance and strengthen their economies and diplomatic ties. 3. Member states that are signatories but unapproved by all core members are observer members and will be offered protection by the Zoo Alliance. Article II. DEFENCE 1. The signatory states pledge to help each other in any case of military aggression or provocation from the outside in all possible ways, also referred to as a mutual defence pact. 2. No signatory state shall attack or provoke another member, also referred to as a non-aggression pact. 3. Wars of aggression led by member states do not force other member states to support these endeavours, for the entire Zoo Alliance to go to war together in an aggressive manner all core members must be in agreement. 4. Signatory states shall not sell arms to enemies or rivals of the Zoo Alliance. Article III. TRADE 1. The signatory states shall open their markets for each other. No tariffs shall be raised on goods being imported or exported from one signatory to another. 2. Signatory states are encouraged to widen economic cooperation by bi- or multilateral trade agreements. Article IV. BORDERS 1. All signatory states shall enjoy sovereignty within their borders and on their domestic affairs. 2. All signatory states shall commit themselves to freedom of movement for their citizens and citizens of other signatory states. Article V. FOREIGN AFFAIRS 1. The signatory states shall collaborate on foreign policy whenever possibly, to try to reach one common goal. 2. To ensure cooperation and to reach a consensus, the signatory states shall communicate and express their views within the Zoo Alliance's institutions. |
