Jelbek-Yingdalan Treaty of Friendship, Mutual Assistance, and Cooperation

The Jelbek Free State (Jelbania) and the Grand Union of Yingdala (Yingdala), having recognized their historical relationship akin to brotherhood, blood ties of their respective peoples, and status as members of the Zoo Alliance, hereby swear, in the sight of God, to maintain perpetual peace, friendship, support, and cooperation between the nations.

I. Friendship

A. Jelbania and Yingdala shall recognize the inherent nature of traditional government in their respective nations, as well as their ruling families, the Jelbek clans and House of Yu.

B. Jelbania and Yingdala recognize each other as traditional nations, bound to their unique culture and way of life, influenced by their respective histories, philosophies, and religions.

C. Jelbania and Yingdala recognize their respective perpetual sovereignty and territorial integrity.

D. Jelbania and Yingdala shall commit to a status of non-aggression and pledge to never wage war on the other by any means.

II. Mutual Assistance

A. Jelbania and Yingdala shall engage in cooperative efforts to further develop their respective economies. These efforts shall be all encompassing to ensure material benefits for their respective peoples and with a goal of attaining "Very Strong" and/or "Hyperpower" economic status.
i. There shall be no barriers to investment between Jelbania and Yingdala.
ii. Free movement of people and goods shall exist between Jelbana and Yingdala.
iii. No barriers to trade shall exist between the countries.
iv. Both countries will maintain preferred status for their respective goods and services above other nations and be allowed to compete equally with the goods and services of other countries should those countries have preferred status in Jelbania and/or Yingdala.
v. Jelbania and Yingdala shall offer each other low or no interest loans, grants, and/or other economic aid in times of economic need should the granting country be in a situation to afford it.
vi. Both countries pledge to uphold human labor practices, maintain resource security, and protect their environments.

B. Jelbania and Yingdala shall engage in cooperative efforts to further develop their respective armed forces. These efforts shall be all encompassing to ensure a high level of technical advancement in military technology, sufficient equipment for defense, and advanced training for their respective armed forces with a goal of attaining "Great Power" and/or "Superpower" military and diplomatic status.
i. Both countries will assist each other with developing new and advanced military technology through joint projects, mutual investment, knowledge sharing, and other methods.
ii. Both countries will sell each other military equipment at competitive market prices.
iii. Both countries will conduct regular military exercises and exchanges on a yearly basis, alternating between Jelbania (Majatra), Yingdala (Dovani), and another international location/waters to be determined, to ensure both military are well trained.

III. Cooperation

A. Jelbania and Yingdala shall, on a yearly basis, commit to government visits and exchanges at all levels.

B. Jelbania and Yingdala shall, on a yearly basis, commit to coordination their international policy in the World Congress and other relevant international organizations.

C. Jelbania and Yingdala shall, on a yearly basis, commit to cultural, education, health, economic, and business exchanges.

D. Jelbania and Yingdala shall commit to cracking down on international crime, including but not limited to terrorism, drug and human trafficking, illegal arms deals, and other criminal activities where the countries have joint interests.
