Takeda Tea Accord

This treaty was drafted in March 4760 by the [KU] ζ›™ (Akebono) πŸŒ„.

Status: ratification[?]

Description[?]

ππ‘π„π€πŒππ‹π„

The Government of the Yingdala and the Government of Seko:

Reaffirming and recognizing the state of perpetual peace, friendship and cooperation which presently exists between both parties, as officially declared in the Seko-Yingdala Declaration of Friendship (http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=4580);

Remaining fully committed strengthening this state of affairs;

Locating specific goods and services which correspond to the social and economic development of both countries;

Have agreed as follows:

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐈. 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐏𝐄𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐋 π…π‘πˆπ„ππƒπ’π‡πˆπ

π€π«ππ’πœπ₯𝐞 𝟏

This agreement is established taking account of the political, social, economic and legal asymmetries between the two countries. Seko, over the course of development following the Constitutional Referendum of 4740, has created mechanisms to protect the dominance of the co-operative sector and protect the condition of labour relations as mandated in the Constitution of Seko. Additionally, the laws of Seko prohibit the production and importation of genetically-modified crops. Yingdala, for its part, is a member of international institutions Seko does not belong to, and largely ascribes to a wu wei ("without action") economic system, all factors which must be taken into consideration when applying the principle of reciprocity in any trade and financial agreements made between the two countries.

π€π«ππ’πœπ₯𝐞 𝟐

Seko proposed the adoption of a number of measures aimed at expanding the integration between the two countries and as an expression of the spirit of the Declaration of Friendship. This proposal was understood and accepted in a fraternal and friendly manner by Yingdala as a constructive gesture which demonstrates the great reciprocal trust which exists between the two countries.

π€π«ππ’πœπ₯𝐞 πŸ‘

Seko proposed the following measures:

(a) Seko shall reduce importation tariffs with regard to non-GMO tea (meaning any product manufactured from the leaf of any non-GMO variety of camellia sinensis, or any derivative thereof which is recognized and traded in the international tea markets as such) cultivated and produced in Yingdala by 40%.
(b) Seko shall reduce importation tariffs with regard to non-GMO cotton fibre (meaning any fibre that grows in a boll, or protective case, around the seeds of the cotton plants of the genus Gossypium in the mallow family Malvaceae) cultivated and produced in Yingdala by 20%.
(c) Seko shall eliminate all importation tariffs with regard to spices (seed, fruit, root, bark, or other plant substance primarily used for flavouring, colouring or preserving food) cultivated and produced in Yingdala.
(d) Seko shall reduce importation tariffs with regard to non-GMO deciduous fruits including pears, apricots, plums, jujubes, figs, jackfruits, lychee, chestnuts, mangoes and grapes cultivated and produced in Yingdala by 75%.

π€π«ππ’πœπ₯𝐞 πŸ“
