Deltaria - Badara Economic, Trade and Security Agreement

| Federace Deltarska Socialistických Republiky and its successor states and Jumhuriat al-Badara and its successor states voluntarily enter into this Economic, Trade and Security Agreement for the purpose of strengthening relations between these two parties signatory beyond those already in place by vitue of an existing treaty ratified by Federace Deltarska Socialistických Republiky in August of 4862 and by Jumhuriat al-Badara in July of 4864. Article I- Free Trade There shall be positive steps taken by the parties hereto to promote the sale of the exports of each to the other including free and unhindered trade between the nations of Federace Deltarska Socialistických Republiky and Jumhuriat al-Badara as well as refraining from imposing tariffs, quotas, or taxes on any imports or exports that flow between them including but not limited to economic activity, involving goods, services, and labour, agricultural products, household appliances, pharmaceutical and other medical products, electronic equipment and commercial air flights. The national governments of Federace Deltarska Socialistických Republiky and Jumhuriat al-Badara may choose to exclude particular industries in order to protect their economic position but this should only be done after notifying the partner government and with good reason. No such industries have been identified at the time of ratification. Article II - Passage through Waters of Jumhuriat al-Badara All Deltarian naval ships, military and civilian, shall be allowed to pass through Badaran waters under the condition that they notify the Badaran Navy upon entry. Appropriate communication links shall be established to implement this provision. Article III - Naval Sale Deltaria will start the procurement of 5 conventional submarines for the Badaran navy, to be completed within the next 7 years. Article IV.- Withdrawal: Should either party decide to withdraw from this agreement, 6 months notice shall be given by the withdrawing party prior to actual termination. All transactions completed prior to such notice shall be considered valid and continue in effect. |
