Luthori-Rutania Friendship and Trade Agreement

| Article One: Peace and Friendship The Commonwealth of Rutania will withdraw from the International Agreement titled: “Agreement to Sanction the Holy Luthori Empire of 4849”, and drop all sanctions against Luthori. Under doing so, they therefore recognise that: A. The process of de-segregation in Luthori is underway, and discriminatory racial policy, has, in effect, been reversed. B. The current Government of the Holy Luthorian Empire is committed to a policy of de-segregation. Article Two: Non-Aggression Pact The Commonwealth of Rutiania and the Holy Luthorian Empire agree to a non-aggression pact. This includes the following: A. Either nation will not declare war on the other directly. B. Armed forces of any type shall not engage in any type of combat with the armed forces of the other. C. The forces of either nation shall not aggressively pass through territory of the other. Article Three: Trade Agreement A trade agreement between the Commonwealth of Rutania and the Holy Luthorian Empire shall be established. The terms are as follows: A. The industries of agriculture and mining shall be exempt from the trade agreement. B. Both nations shall refrain from imposing tariffs, quotas or taxes on imports and exports between either nation. C. Luthorian Businesses operating in Rutania shall be granted domestic investor status. D. Further industries may be excluded or included upon will of both sides, with a 6 month warning period, in order to protect particular industries. E. All nationals of Rutania or Luthori living in the other nation shall receive the same employment benefits and opportunities as a regular citizen. Article Four: Military Operations With warning, the Rutanian navy shall be able to pass through Luthorian waters. This shall be the same for the Luthorian navy wishing to pass through Rutanian waters. Article Five: Diplomatic Relations Representatives of each nation shall meet annually to discuss foreign affairs and the relationship between both countries. Article Six: Timings and Terms A. This treaty shall last for an indefinite amount of time, it shall only end when one side wishes for it to do so. B. Either nation may cease their participation in the treaty, thus, nullifying it, providing that they give a warning period of a year before their withdrawal. C. This treaty may be updated or edited with the approval of both nations. |
