Bill: Government Space Agency to Oversee Private Exploration

Details

Submitted by[?]: Grand Republican Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2087

Description[?]:

Currently the Rutanian government allows privatised space travel by issuing private permits for space exploration. In the interests of further controlling and regulating private exploration of space, and ensuring that only those private expeditions that the government wishes to have launched, are launched, the Grand Republican Party proposes:

The government shall operate a space agency that contracts with and oversees private space-exploration companies. The Agency shall be integrated into a suitable government ministry once created to relieve the tax payers of too much burden, and to increase coordination and efficency.
