| We propose a flat tax of 3% to encourage work, investment, and the accumulation of wealth in Sekowo. Instead of the regimented system of marginal rates heretofore seen in this nation, this new scheme will provide incentives, not impediments, for citizens to be industrious and not punish successful members of our society for their incomes. No more shall a tyrannical state engage in such uncontrolled thievery of the hard-earned incomes of our people! We leave a small tax-free bracket to protect the very poorest among us. |
