Description[?]:
In order to maintain the security of the Imperial Republics' borders and to guarantee that all peoples within this Nation work for the improvement of this Nation rather than against it the following measures will be implemented. - The Justice has the right to monitor information without informing those being investigated. This will have the advantage of allowing the security services to operate and carry out their function of counter-intelligence and information gathering in order to bring justice to the people. - The confidentiality of letters is not inviolable. In so doing we can guarantee that no information that could be potentially dangerous to public safety or the nation as a whole is being passed between peoples. However, in order to guarantee that this power is not misused, only authorised personnel may violate the confidentiality of these letters. These authorised personnel may only be a part of Hobrazian security (either police or HIA). Any breaches by any other individuals or groups will lead to a maximum 10 year prison sentence and 5,000 HCR damages. - Invasive security and background checks will be carried out on all citizens requesting passports. This will guarantee that no citizens bring the Imperial Republic into disrepute abroad as no citizens with a criminal record will be allowed exit of this Nation. - Strict border controls will be enacted on all visitors to this Country. This will assist the security services in maintaining law and order throughout the Nation. These controls are lessened, although not signifcantly, for those travelling within the Empire For the majority of citizens of the Imperial Republic the above changes to the laws will have little or no effect to their daily lives. This law will effect a minority of criminal classes and assist our security services in bringing them to justice. If you've done nothing wrong you've got nothing to fear. If you've something to hide you shouldn't even be here. |

Random quote: "We must show that liberty is not merely one particular value but that it is the source and condition of most moral values. What a free society offers to the individual is much more than what he would be able to do if only he were free. We can therefore not fully appreciate the value of freedom until we know how a society of free men as a whole differs from one in which unfreedom prevails." - Friedrich August Hayek |
