Bill: Community Sports Initiative
Details
Submitted by[?]: Progressive Left Alliance
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2419
Description[?]:
The Progressive Left Alliance believe that the promotion of activity and public health is vital to ensure that the people of the Union of Vanuku live longer and healthier lives. The PLA further believes that whilst there can be a central health policy, it is in schools and local communities where physical activity is best promoted to tackle childhood obesity and encourage exercise. This bill gives local communities through their local authorities more power to encourage community sports and we would invite cross-party support for our proposals. |
