Bill: NMP Front Line Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Democrats

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2425

Description[?]:

It is our firm belief that women should not serve in the front line of the armed forces of our nation.

We are brave enough to suggest that equality is meaningless in the armed forces. It is not right to suggest that women should serve in the front line, because there is absolutely no advantage to the military in doing so. Not only does it reduce the morale of a unit in a number of ways, particularly if that unit i living in the field, or taking part in combat, but it creates various problems that are not going o happen in an all male unit. It does not benefit women to push themselves into jobs that are naturally the jobs of men, not only does it defeminise them, but it reduces the effectiveness of their male colleagues.

In terms of tradition we also consider the current policy to be wrong. War is a mans job, not a womans. Although this is discriminator, we recognise that equality and war are not suitable partners, and that equality should not be persued in such an important area simply for the sake of equality. There is no need to have woman in the front line, and therefore we suggest that they should not be theref in the first place, and that it is morally wrong to send mothers and daughters of to die.
