Voting deadline: August 2433
Description[?]:
This simple and cut n' dry legislation would enable the People of the Commonwealh of Rutania to have a Strong National Defense to protect our culture and our sovereignty. (1) Just some quick comments on our proposals to withdraw from the "World Peace Treaty" and "Chemical & Biological Weapons Disamament Treaty." Now, we ALL agree that use of Chemical, Biological, and Nuclear weapons is an ABOMINATION b/c they can kill innocent civilians. Nevertheless, simply banning them by "law or treaty" will NOT eliminate them b/c ONLY Law-abiding Nations would comply. Criminals, Terrorists, and Nation-States that sponsor Terrorism will disavow the Treaties b/c they have no respect for the law in begin with. Therefore, if they use those weapons, we need the capability to DEFEND the sovereignty of our nation and people. (2) As for the last proposal about not allowing Women to serve alongside men on the frontlines is NOT a "sexist" position. Let me explain: Common sense, of course, a woman with the same training can probably shoot better than 10 men and probably can beat them in a fight. Nevertheless, that is NOT the point. The point is that to be quite honest and "crude", unfortunately, Women should not serve on the Frontlines b/c they can get PREGNANT and men cannot. In other words, if a man dies on the battlefield, it is a terrible loss but biologically speaking he is expendable b/c the average male produces 300 million sperm cells a day whereas a woman produces ONE egg cell per month and then it takes 9 months for her to carry the child to term. Think about it: if massive numbers of women die in battle, we as a Nation will not have the capability to RE-populate. Therefore, society should also try to encourage a higher ratio of women to men. Thanks and I look forward to your support of a Strong National Defense of the nation. Thank you very much for your support!!! |
