Description[?]:
REALINZING that medicine is useless unless those who need it have access to it. WITHOUT a nationalized healthcare system, not only is healthcare itself expensive, but medicine is unaffordable. WITHOUT government aide, the poor who need most coverage, have none. WITHOUT respect to the needy, only the highest class of society including corporations have access to medicine. KNOWING that if for instance a new anti-cancer drug is created, only the rich could afford it. HONESTY medical corporations become greedy, limiting investment in their product so as to make money, rather than save lives. GREED is driven by this lust for money. Prices will not drop unless the government allows them to. The creators of medicine will not lower their prices if they know they can get rich by selling them for higher prices. FUNDING for medicine shouldn't be for personal use. Funding and sales should go towards more scientific research in new medicines. What good is selling a medicine for high prices, if your department already recieves sufficient funding for research? The scientists of medicine need to be spared from money corruption. ALLOWING all levels of society to be able to afford the medicines they need, with or without a state healthcare system. |

Random quote: The Wolfsheim Virus is not a real actual disease in the conventional medical sense of the term. Rather, it is a cluster of symptoms which are just part of the general socio-economic disease that is capitalism. The main symptoms the sufferers are experiencing are a direct result of capitalist poverty, as in malnutrition, poor housing and so on, combined with psycho-somatic symptoms which are a direct consequence of the contradictions and stresses which are inherent to the capitalist system. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
