In the name of God, the compassionate, the merciful: In order to further involve young people in the political process of our democratic society, the voting age shall be lowered by stages. For the next election, the right to vote shall be conferred on 17-year olds. The success of this move will be evaluated and if it proves successful, the age shall be lowered by a further year in the following election. |
