| The Vanuku Federal Alliance propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Union of Vanuku. Given that obstructionists in our government refuse to have any meaningful form of tax reform, we in the VFA have hit upon a sure-fire, knock-em-dead solution: the fair tax! How is it fair, you may be asking? Well, the fair tax of 25% is soon to be the fare we in Vanuku all pay. Just 25% of your income. How easy is that? Amazingly easy! Why, we can slash the revenue collecting bureaucracy. The pages and pages of tax forms can be reduced to one. Taxes will be so simple even a 5th grade student could do it! It's simple, and it's fair. Everyone pays the same, rich or poor, garbageman to corporate CEO. You will notice we actually make MORE revenue from this then our current complicated tax scheme. It's a win-win-win. We win, you win, and the treasury wins! |
