| I have always believed learning is a process. The first lesson sets the foundation to which the next lesson adds. It becomes extremely difficult for any child who does not get off to a good start to catch up. In poor communities, the hurdles are already tall in overcoming, and thus getting poor children an early start in education is key to getting them on the right path especially at a time where they are most willing to learn. Well educated youth from a poor community sets the foundation for that community to get better as time passes. |
