Bill: Prisoner Education

Details

Submitted by[?]: bran1322 Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2472

Description[?]:

To assist in their reintegration back to society and to reduce the likelihood of committing another crime once free, we should educate prisoners. This bill helps society as a whole especially those who haven't committed a crime. When a prisoner gets out which most will, if we don't provide them realistic tools to get back a stable life, they will commit another crime against the public as a whole. Also, less criminals that go back to jail means more government money can be spent on other issues that help those on the outside.

Random fact: Submitting a bill without any proposals in it will not attract or detract voters. It will not raise your visibility or change your political position.

Random quote: "Up against the corporate government, voters find themselves asked to choose between look-alike candidates from two parties vying to see who takes the marching orders from their campaign paymasters and their future employers. The money of vested interest nullifies genuine voter choice and trust." - Ralph Nader
