| Forcing immigrants to pass a test is another barrier to them becoming apart of Egelion society. These tests skew against poor immigrants that do not have the resources and time to study for these tests. If one is worried about terrorists and criminals, they have the resources to prepare and pass the test and thus I don't think it really stops them. This does feel like a law from a time where you'd have to pass an exam to qualify to vote. |
