| The Party of Equal Rights see no point in keeping the current law regarding ownership of guns, it should be much stricter. Even though we in most aspects cherish a high degree of personal freedom we believe that ownership of firearms should only be permitted when its professionally required. A wide-spread ownership of weapons among individuals is in no way good for a society. |

Old value:: Individuals are allowed to own firearms as long as they do not have a history of dangerous mental illness or a violent criminality.
Current: Adult individuals may own guns under strict license conditions.
Proposed: Adult individuals may not own firearms unless professionally required.
