Bill: Call for early elections, September 2478

Details

Submitted by[?]: Al'Badara Republican Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.

Voting deadline: May 2479

Description[?]:

We, the Al'Badara Alliance Party, call for early elections due to the fact that once again there is no such party as the MDP and it would be better to have a general election rather than having 23 (29) by-elections as well as no consensus over the cabinet.

The only time the AAP will call an election is if something like this happens, not for something willy-nilly.

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play".

Random quote: "My tenure will be controversial and it is, quite obviously, true that I am the most right-wing Prime Minister this country has seen in several decades.” - Margaret Woodhall, former Dranian politician
