Bill: Police Armament Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Capitalist Freedom Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2100

Description[?]:

Considering the fact that such troubles as Organised Crime are able to obtain such weaponry as semi, to even complete machine guns, we find it important that the Police forces be able to match criminals one for one at the very least. Please note however, that this in no way removes any legislation regarding a fair and impartial trial through the judicial system, and that average street police will carry standard weapons only. Passing this law in the meantime, will allow us to create special task groups within the Police force, to reduce the need for Military involvement in civil affairs.

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining.

Random quote: "A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both." - Dwight D. Eisenhower
