Bill: Extradition Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Al'Badara Republican Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2482
Description[?]:
This act allows us to extradite citizens who are charged with a crime in a foreign country AS LONG AS said country does not have any capital or corporal punishment and does not torture suspects. If a country with an extremely totalitarian government and set of laws wants to try one of our citizens with a crime then the answer would be no, but if a country with a set of laws similar or even more democratic than ours (compared with a Scandinavian or Canadian), then yes. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The terms of extradition.
Old value:: The law bars the government from extraditing anyone who is a citizen of the state.
Current: The law does not limit the power of the government to pursue extradition treaties.
