Bill: Drugs, December 2484
Details
Submitted by[?]: Computational Intellect Project
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2485
Description[?]:
Because of prison overcrowding, it is estimated that on average, for every drug-user put in prison, one violent criminal is released, who will continue to commit, on average, 40 robberies, 7 assaults, 110 burglaries, and 25 auto thefts. We are putting people in prison for harming themselves, taking advantage of their own right to their own body, one of the most basic rights, and, through prison overcrowding, will let out REAL criminals who will invade the basic rights of everyone else in society. This must stop, and we must repeal this pointless law. |
Proposals
Article 1

Random fact: Whilst the use of non-English languages can be appropriate for nation names, party names, constitutional titles and other variables, English is the official language of communication in the game. All descriptive texts and public communications should be in English or at least appear alongside a full English translation. |
Random quote: "Capitalism demands the best of every man- his rationality- and rewards him accordingly. It leaves every man free to choose the work he likes, to specialize in it, to trade his product for the products of others, and to go as far on the road of achievement as his ability and ambition will carry him." - Ayn Rand |
