| Because of recent events accross the nation, notably in Port MacCaoimhin, the National Strength Party call upon Parliament to declare a state of Emergancy. The Presidents lack of action has meant that we, as the second largest, non-communist party, call for immediate action. We call on parliament to accept these articles: 1) Parliament condemns the terrorist activities of the communist-socialist parties. The actions in Port MacCaoimhin, and the Capital are illegal, as such the army should be placed in all major cities to prevent an uprising. 2) We call upon the President to take control of the situation, which could have been prevented. 3) We ask the communist and socialist parties of Parliament to join us in condemning the actions, they will be seen as supporting the rebels if they do not accept. 4) The Parliament will adopt a "coalition cabinet" which will be made up from all non-communist parties. 5) The Parliament will act to protect the citizens of the Republic of Endralon, even those who have committed the acts of treason. We shall aim to restore peace with minimal casualties. 6) Parliament will declare a State of Emergency, Which will be announced globally by the Foreign Minister, or the President. 7) Parliament will adopt temporary legislation to resolve the situation, details of which can be found here: |
