Description[?]:
"We all regret the failure of our attempt to subsidize public transport. Nevertheless, we are unfazed and determined to press forward, in accordance with socialist ideals. Yet, myself and all other comrades of our great movement are prepared to draft a compromise which we hope will work for our political allies of the revolution and hopefully secure some reactionary votes as well. I have already proposed arguments on this matter that you all know all too well, so I will not continue to bore all of you with irritating redundancy. It is not the progress we hope for, but it is some progress, for government to at least partially subsidize public transport. Whatever the reactionaries may claim, public transport is a government matter, and should be treated as such." -Daniel Vladimirovich Feterokov, in the proposition speech to the National Directory |
