Bill: Striking Workers
Details
Submitted by[?]: bran1322 Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2497
Description[?]:
Letting the government step in to decide if workers on strike should be fired is a good step. The government can objectively see if a fired worker is for legitimate reasons. What I do not want to see is the company itself determine what they consider is a legitimate reason. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Employer's rights in regards to firing striking workers.
Old value:: Employers can fire workers who are deemed to have gone on strike without reasonable reasons.
Current: Employers cannot fire workers who have gone on strike.
Proposed: Government approval is needed before strikers can be fired.
