Voting deadline: October 2538
Description[?]:
Rutania's current laws state that "The nation shall never use chemical or biological weapons in warfare unless another nation uses them first." We believe this to be a good policy. However, after further examination, we noticed that the law regarding the use of nuclear weapons was this: "The nation reserves the right to use nuclear weapons in warfare for any reason." These two laws seem incongruous. We intend to fix that with this bill. Nuclear weapons can be just as, if not more devastating than chemical and biological weapons. Why can we throw nukes at other countries whenever we want, but not anthrax? Our laws must be consistent and logical. With this in mind, we present the following proposal... |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy concerning the use of nuclear weaponry in warfare.
Old value:: The nation reserves the right to use nuclear weapons in warfare for any reason.
Current: The nation shall never use nuclear weapons in warfare.
Proposed: The nation shall never use nuclear weapons in warfare unless another nation uses them first.
