Bill: Foreign Missionary Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Fair and Equal World Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2539
Description[?]:
Rutania allows anyone to visit the country, providing they pass a basic security examination. There is no special "encouragement" offered to these people to induce them to come here. Why should it be any different for foreign missionaries? They are people, just like anyone else, yet we specially "encourage" them to visit us, as if we value their time here more than others'. We believe that the government should not play a role in affairs of religion. Yet by "encouraging" foreign missionaries to visit us, the government does just that. Foreign missionaries should be treated just like other people visiting this country and should not be given any special "encouragement" not given to everyone else. |
