Bill: Regulation of the sale of alcoholic products

Details

Submitted by[?]: Konservativa Respublikano Parti

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2544

Description[?]:

Right outside my office are a group of young people, about thirteen or fourteen, who are regularly drunk. I have also heard several stories about ten year olds being brought to hospital after drinking too much. A spokesperson for Alcoholics Anonymous has also stated that young teenagers are regularly involved in AA meetings. Obviously something is wrong with this nation if we allow this abuse. So I am proposing a severe tightening of the legislation in this area.

Random fact: The players in a nation have a collective responsibility to prevent confusion by ensuring unofficial or outdated bills labelled as "Cultural Protocols" are removed from their nation page.

Random quote: "A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." - Thomas Jefferson
