Bill: Parental Accountability Act of 2568

Details

Submitted by[?]: Peoples' Fist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2568

Description[?]:

It is the job of a child's parents, not the government, to curb "detrimental" habits that may contribute to delinquency. By passing this bill, we send the clear message that a citizen can do whatever they want with their bodies (which is only proper), while simultaneously putting the onus on parents to be active in their child's life. Let the parents decide how best to raise their child.

On a side note, increased sales of these products is a means to stimulate the economy.

Random quote: "Up against the corporate government, voters find themselves asked to choose between look-alike candidates from two parties vying to see who takes the marching orders from their campaign paymasters and their future employers. The money of vested interest nullifies genuine voter choice and trust." - Ralph Nader
