Details

Submitted by[?]: Workers Alliance

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2571

Description[?]:

Article 1- By privitizing all industries you increase competition and productivity, while at the same time reducing prices. With this legislation we can also protect the industries that are important when they are in need.

Article 2- Many minimum wage workers have families that they must support and in many cases certain members of the family are unable to contribute to the finances of the family. Therefore if we take this into account we should increase the minimum wage to provide assitance to them.

Article 3-A majority of ALL members of the union should have to consent to the strike before it can be enacted. Under the current law 20 members of a 500 member union could hold a vote and if 11 of those 20 vote to go on strike then it is lawful. That is unacceptable.
