Description[?]:
It is the N.F.C. view that an unimpeded and free market with minimal if any regulations yields not only to innovation, competition, growth in markets, freedom of information and clearly states to the proud citizens of our Federation that their federal government has no reason to interfere with the media. A free market in both television and the radio industries will yield furthermore to economic avenues not previously allowed; creating jobs, facilitating in lower unemployment rates and countless other benefits. On the issue of international regulation of media, the N.F.C. does not believe it ought be the governments role to interfere with this at all. However, we do currently have on the books certain regulations pertaining to sexually explicit materials, violence and so on in regards to domestic outlets. Allowing foreign media this loop-hole makes absolutely no sense. We submit our modest proposal to the esteemed members of the National Directory for an up or down vote. |
